Terms of Service
Last updated: July 27, 2026
Agreement
These terms govern your use of unitedotters.com and describe how The Roster media day service works. By using this website you agree to these terms.
The service
United Otters produces The Roster — a full-production sports media day for schools, athletic clubs, and college programs. The Roster is provided at no charge to the school or club; athletes and their families purchase their photo and video packages individually.
Bookings
A media day is scheduled by agreement between United Otters and the school or club. Specific production commitments, dates, deliverables, and any school-specific terms are confirmed in writing for each engagement, and that written agreement controls over these terms for that engagement. Either party may reschedule for weather, facility, or safety reasons; we will work with the program to find the earliest workable new date.
Program responsibilities
The host program agrees to provide reasonable access to the agreed facility, an accurate roster in advance, and cooperation in distributing sign-up and release forms to athletes and families. Athlete participation requires a signed release, including parent or guardian consent for minors.
Athlete packages and payments
Package purchases are made by athletes and their families at the prices and terms shown at the time of purchase and are processed by a third-party payment processor; United Otters does not store card details.
Reshoots and refunds
If something in a delivered package is wrong — a misspelled name, a wrong number, an editing error — tell us within 14 days of delivery and we will correct it at no charge. If an athlete misses the media day, we will offer a make-up option where production logistics allow.
Content and licensing
United Otters retains copyright in the photos and videos we produce. Participating schools and clubs receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the content library produced for their program in program promotion — social media, websites, recruiting materials, broadcasts, and on-campus displays. Athletes and families receive a personal-use license for purchased content: posting, sharing, printing, and use in the athlete's own recruiting or social profiles. Neither license covers resale or standalone commercial use of the content, and content may not be edited in ways that misattribute or misrepresent the people in it. United Otters may use produced content in its own portfolio and marketing unless the release form for that athlete says otherwise.
Acceptable use
Delivered media hubs and galleries are for the participating program, its athletes, and their families. Don't share hub access outside that group, resell content, or use delivered content in ways your license doesn't cover.
Website content
The text, design, graphics, and media on this website belong to United Otters or its licensors and may not be reused commercially without permission.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
This website is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, United Otters disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or the service. Our total liability related to a package purchase is limited to the amount paid for that package; our total liability to a program for a no-cost engagement is limited to $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida.
Changes
We may update these terms; the version posted here applies. Material changes to an active engagement will be agreed in writing, not imposed by website update.
